Sophomore Eric Palmer scored with 40 seconds remaining in overtime to give the host Cardinals (3-6, 2-3) a City Series win over the Falcons (5-7, 3-3).

The Cardinals outscored the Falcons 5-3 in overtime for the win.

Senior Oshay Vinson scored 19 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead the Cardinals, and senior Evan Kennerly led the Falcons with 16 points.

Stow 49, Solon 38

Senior Matt Beech scored 22 points, senior Jacob Williams added 12 points and the host Bulldogs (11-2, 4-1) defeated the Comets (3-10, 0-5) in a Northeast Ohio Conference game.

The Bulldogs led 34-32 after the third quarter and went on a 15-6 run in the fourth quarter to pull away.

The host Black Tigers (9-2, 5-0) scored 30 points in the fourth quarter to rally for the Northeast Ohio Conference win.

Senior Angelo Cugini scored 23 points, and senior Josh Ricker added 19 points for the Black Tigers.

Junior Christian Oakley scored 22 points, and senior Delvon Robinson had 14 points for the Arcs (8-4, 3-2).

Senior Christian Waite scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds, and senior Mike Landa scored 10 points and was 4-of-4 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter for the Knights.

Senior Dionte Williams scored 20 points for the host Orangemen (10-2, 3-2) in a City Series win over the Vikings (1-9, 1-4).

The Orangemen outscored the Vikings 30-13 in the second half to pull away for the win.

Junior Breaon Brady scored 15 points for the Orangemen, and senior Trarell Balknight scored 15 points to lead the Vikings.

The visiting Hornets (9-3, 6-1) went on a 24-15 run in the second quarter to break the game open in a Suburban League win over the Indians (4-9, 2-5).

Junior Brogan Scott led the Hornets with 24 points.

Senior Brandon Chillious scored 21 points to lead the Indians.

Senior Kyle Prunty scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the host Grizzlies (6-4, 4-3 Suburban). Junior Nick Hewitt scored eight of his 10 points in the fourth quarter to spark the Grizzlies’ 18-point fourth-quarter run.

Senior Justin Blanks scored 16 points, senior Jeff Schulte added 15 points and the host Panthers (10-4, 6-1) defeated the Red Devils in a Portage Trail Conference-Metro Division game. Senior Dakota Pratt scored 11 points for the Panthers.
