High school sports roundup: Ludington girls basketball team snags 52-49 OT … – The Grand Rapids Press

The Ludington girls basketball team’s Kalli Wahr sank a 3-pointer at the buzzer to force overtime, allowing the Orioles to grab a 52-49 victory over Muskegon Reeths-Puffer.

The Muskegon Oakridge girls basketball team led Muskegon most of the first three quarters, but the Big Reds pulled away to a 58-48 win after Oakridge senior point guard Morgan Giddings fouled out in the fourth quarter.

A big second half carried the Muskegon Mona Shores girls basketball team to a 50-31 win over Spring Lake.

Utica Eisenhower hockey team senior Andrew Barbara scored an overtime goal to cap a 4-3 comeback win over Detroit Country Day, after the Eagles had trailed 3-1 earlier in the game.

The Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook-Kingswood ice hockey team went into the third period with a 3-1 lead and withstood a Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice comeback attempt to win 4-3.
