Introducing OregonLive.com’s redesigned high school sports site

Just in time for the start of the 2013-14 school year, OregonLive.com is pleased to announce a redesign of our high school sports site. You’ll still find the latest news, standings, scores and team pages, but the presentation and layout removes much of the clutter and the design is responsive.

Here are a few highlights with this redesign:

  • Mobile friendly: The responsive design automatically adapts for mobile users.
  • Easier to find: We know standings, scores and teams pages are important to you. These are now available front and center on the page.
  • Wider content area: The left rail has been removed on both section fronts and article levels, which provides more space for the content.
  • Navigation: It’s still easy to navigate across the site. The navigation “Menu” is now located in the top left corner of the page. Click the “Menu” to see full navigation options.
  • Your comments: Thanks to the wider content area, your comments are easier to read after each article.

You may sign into our site with the button near the top right corner of the page next to the search function. Don’t have a free OregonLive.com account? Create an account or sign in with your Facebook account.

Favorite schools teams

Once signed into your OregonLive.com account, you may select your favorite schools and teams. Links to your favorite school and team will be available when you click on your profile avatar at the top of the page.

Take a look through the site and if you have any questions, please leave a comment below or email us at sports@oregonlive.com.
