The Life Changers Basketball Club (LC) program is for committed players looking for individual skill development and competitive team play in local, and regional tournaments.

Overview

  • Players: High School Boys 10th, 11th, and 12th Grades
  • Practice Schedule: 2x per week for 90 minutes
  • Games: 6-weekend tournaments (usually 3-5 games per tournament)
  • Location: TBD

Tryout Location:

Elmore Park Middle, 6330 Althorne Rd, Bartlett, TN 38134

Registration Process:

The tryout is open and available to everyone. We strongly encourage players to register before the date of the tryout.

The Tryout Process:

Please arrive on time for the scheduled tryout to allow enough time for check-in. During tryouts, LC coaches will evaluate players to determine which players are best for the team. Players will go through different drills and scrimmages to show their skill sets. The coaches will evaluate each player’s fundamentals (ball-handling, shooting, passing, etc.), attitudes, IQ, effort, and leadership.

Team Selection Process:

The Coaches will determine who will make the team based on their performance. LC will send an email out 48 hrs after the final tryout sessions. In this email, we will let you know if your child was selected for the team or not selected. This email will include the necessary paperwork and any additional information needed to commit to the Life Changers Basketball program.

Commitment Day:

Commitment Day is when players’ spots are secured and officially enrolled in the LC Basketball program. On this day, complete the necessary paperwork, the first payments made, uniform fitting, and a parent meeting with the coach.

Program Philosophy

We believe that there are lifelong lessons found in participating in team sports. Our mission, goal, and passion are to empower your child to experience, grow and embrace these lessons through our LC Family concepts, which include:

  • The special bond that is created within our LC Family to strive together to achieve a common goal
  • The intensity of competition, the thrill, the joy, and the disappointments
  • The sense of triumph that arises from overcoming adversity
  • The satisfaction that comes from the pursuit of excellence

We want our players to be prepared with the tools to succeed on and off the court, and we will provide them with a platform to be successful. We encourage our players to work hard in the classroom and on the court. Our players will have the mindset of what it takes to be a student-athlete.

The LC coaching staff is experienced and understands the importance of individual development and team play. As teachers of basketball and life, we will help prepare our players for the experiences they will encounter. We will work hard to ensure our players are prepared for each game with the training to succeed and play to their full potential. The LC staff wants our players to be active, work hard for their LC families and accept everything with a positive mindset.
