Morning Announcements: Setting up Wednesday’s high school sports coverage …

CLEVELAND, Ohio — So your extended holiday break has come to a stark and sudden end?

It’s Wednesday, and like many local high school students, maybe you are returning to the classroom for the first time since Dec. 20.

After a few extra days at home because of crummy weather, you’ve taken your seat and now it’s time for the familiar sound of bells and administrators speaking via the PA system.

Here at the Northeast Ohio Media Group, we hope you will incorporate a new wrinkle into your routine. Starting this week we will post Morning Announcements – a daily rundown previewing our coverage plans for the day on cleveland.com/hssports.

Look for the posts early every Monday through Saturday. Each post will also have links to the previous day’s coverage.

So, now that class is back in session, let’s get started.
