RECAP: 2011 CBL Pre-Draft Workouts DAY 2

Day 2 Pre-Draft Workouts showcased the talents of the (NCAA) 5-7 grade division. It wasn’t any dunking going on, but there was some good shooting, quick first steps, and some killa crossovers.

Here are some MAJOR PERFORMERS from Day 2:

Steve Bethany

Steve Bethany (Appling)
Steve has good size and has improved his game. He’s proven to be a good scorer around the rim.  [/one_fourth]

Ragan Sernel (Our Lady of Perpetual Help)
Ragan was the tallest player at the workout. He should dominate the boards and go quick in the 1st round of the draft.

Tyrese Brown (Highland Oaks)
Tyrese plays hard on both sides of the ball. He has the quickness to blow pass defenders and he’ll fight for every loose ball. He will put up some big number in the CBL.

Carlos Sandifer (DeSoto Central, MS)
Carlos is a big guard that can handle the ball and has a quick first step. He’s not afraid to attack the rim and can knock down the “3” ball.

Dayton Leach (White Station)
Dayton is very athletic. He rebounds well and pushes the ball down the court looking to attack the rim. He will be a beast in this division.

Darius Carter (Wooddale)
Darius is one the fastest guard in this division. A very crafty lefty, that can score at will. He also can shoot the ball.

Leland Kirkendoll (Highland Oaks)
Leland is strong with the ball and has good court vision. He’s developing into a good floor general. Can he lead his team to the “SHIP”? I think so.
