CLEVELAND, Ohio — Here’s what to expect on Friday from the Northeast Ohio Media Group’s high school sports staff:

Boys tennis

Westlake junior and doubles state qualifier Nicholas “Cal” Craven said he’s feeling the pressure as a team leader this season. The Demons are without their top player and his doubles partner from last year. Not too much pressure on Craven you say? His team is going for its seventh straight conference title. Reporter Nathaniel Cline has the story.


Reporters David Cassilo and Mark Kern have storylines and players to watch for the 2014 softball season. See which teams might make a run at a state title this season.


Reporters Stephanie Kuzydym, Bill Landis and Lexi Pluym host the baseball podcast, which features guests from Benedictine and Avon Lake.
