Alexis Peterson of 5’7″ Guard in the class of 2013 verbalized with Syracuse University yesterday. Alexis plays for Northland High School in Columbus Ohio and for the Ohio Sports City’s AAU Basketball Team. Just recently in Las Vegas she led her team to the championship, burning the competition repeatedly with her speed and knock down mid range jumpers at Blue Star Media’s U.S. Junior Nationals operated by Mike Flynn. The Orange will be well represented going into ACC play with the type of guard that has been successful there in the past. She’s physically tough, speedy and she passes the ball well. Alexis is ESPN’s 22nd Ranked Point Guard.
