CLEVELAND, Ohio — There is plenty of high school sports coverage to see today, especially in girls basketball. New area and statewide polls will be coming out and we’ll have various recaps for games and events highlighting what’s happening in several sports.
Here’s a rundown of what you’ll find on cleveland.com today and tonight. Look for these Morning Announcements posts every Monday through Saturday to set you up for the day in high school sports.
Highlights of what’s being posted today at cleveland.com/hssports:
Look for several preview capsules for the wrestling dual team state tournament, which resumes Wednesday. Reporter Scott Patsko will have all of the information you may want to know, plus analysis on the local favorites in each region.
Scott will also team up with reporter Nate Cline during the cleveland.com weekly wrestling podcast, The Center Mat, as they interview St. Edward coach Greg Urbas and Wadsworth coach John Gramuglia.
Nate will also have a video with local wrestler L.J. Bentley of St. Edward for the cleveland.com Weekly Spotlight. This post will include a short story and a fun, offbeat profile video in addition to a separate action video.
Tuesday is always a big night for boys hoops. There will be plenty to see on the site including notes on players and teams, embedded Tweets from players, links to our coverage and coverage from other media outlets past few days and more.
