Girls Volleyball

Timothy Christian 25-25, Illiana Christian 18-20: Hannah Wegner totaled 12 assists, Sydnee VanBeek had five kills and Jamie Petrarca added eight blocks to pace host Illiana Christian (17-13, 7-2) in the Metro Suburban.

Boys Soccer

Marist 4, Shepard 1: A.J. Olivieri netted a pair of goals to boost visiting Marist (13-4). Ed Cunningham and Grant Kenny also scored for the RedHawks, who extended their winning streak to 11 matches. Colm McGee scored for Shepard (6-6-1).

Marian Catholic 0, Notre Dame 0: Chris Taborn notched the shutout for host Marian Catholic in the East Suburban Catholic (13-5-4, 2-2-2).

Minooka 8, Providence 1: Kevin Sullivan recorded a goal for visiting Providence (3-16).

Warrior Invitational

Metea Valley 2, Lemont 0: Goals by Esteban Castillo and Jake Celinski led host Metea Valley (6-5-3) in the tournament hosted by Waubonsie Valley. Lemont fell to 9-7-2.

Girls Tennis

Lincoln-Way North 7, Andrew 0: Sam Pietruszynski and Meg Witt prevailed at No. 1 doubles for visiting Lincoln-Way North in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Sisters Alex and Emily Hodges added a victory at No. 2 doubles for the Phoenix.

Sandburg 6, Lockport 1: Molly Traverso (No. 1) and Natalie Schultz (No. 2) posted singles wins for host Sandburg in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

Lincoln-Way East 7, Bradley 0: Hope Ritter posted a win at top-seeded singles to aid Lincoln-Way East (12-10, 5-1) in Frankfort. Stefanie Hunniford and Jacqui Michuda (No. 1 doubles) also contributed a victory for the Griffins in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Oak Forest 5, T.F. North 0: Danielle Fraider and Annie Samoska won their match at No. 2 doubles to spark visiting Oak Forest (10-5) in the South Suburban Blue. Amelia McDowell and Benita Joseph tacked on a victory at No. 3 doubles for the Bengals.

Stagg 4, Tinley Park 1: Jillian Atkenson (No. 2 singles) was among the winners for visiting Stagg.

Lemont 5, Bremen 0: C.J. Hunter and Katie Lynch contributed a straight sets victory at No. 2 doubles for visiting Lemont (7-6, 4-1) in the South Suburban Blue.

Providence 4, St. Viator 1: Elise Morris and Grace Burchett (No. 3 doubles) put up a victory for host Providence (17-6, 5-4) in the East Suburban Catholic.
