Softball: Northeast’s bats too much for Glenelg

NORTHEAST 14, GLENELG 3: Mindy Weisgerber belted a home run and two singles and drove in three runs, while Coral Dittmar added a double and a triple and knocked in five, to lead the Eagles past the Gladiators. Sarah Kriewald also had a double and a triple that plated a run, and Sarah Gordon had three singles and two RBIs. Ashley Prince also had three singles and drove in a run and Sabrina Gordon ripped two singles and a double and also drove in a run.


Brooke Steinbach, who scored a pair of runs, got the win, allowing three hits while striking out seven.
